Sports Medicine Australia has today announced that due to the ongoing travel restrictions and health concerns surrounding COVID-19, SMA will be reformatting the 2021 SMA Conference to be delivered online.

SMA and the Conference Committee have been working hard towards delivering the 2021 conference face to face at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. However, due to the uncertainty surrounding COVID, this is no longer a secure option.

In parallel, we have been working on a contingency plan to ensure that we can deliver the conference to members and delegates in an exciting and innovative way.

Registrations have been temporarily paused while we finalise details of the online program.

In two weeks’ time, we will re-open registrations with new and engaging options for delegates.

SMA is excited about the opportunity this brings to our community and members, and we look forward to updating you with further details in the coming fortnight.
