SMA National Conferences
The SMA Conference is a platform for the world’s most celebrated sports medicine researchers and practitioners to network and exchange ideas.
It’s a unique multidisciplinary event, including representation from medical practitioners, allied health professionals, academics, students, and others interested in sports medicine. The rich array of professions is reflected in the Conference program, and fosters collaboration and knowledge exchange across the disciplines.
The first Conference was held in 1965, when the Australian Sports Medicine Foundation was in its first two years of existence. Below is a list of Conferences held since then.
