Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport (JSAMS), Professor Dr (med) Tim Meyer recently hosted a publication workshop for Latin American and Caribbean academics. Joining Professor Meyer as hosts were:

• Professor Isabel Sacco – Editorial Board Member,
• Professor Claudio Gil de Araujo – Editorial Board Member, and
• Dr Danilo De Oliveira Silva – Social Media Editor.

Delegates had the opportunity to meet the editorial team and engage in an open discussion about the main challenges faced by Latin American and Caribbean academics.
