New Partnership with SINIS

Jun 27, 2023

SMA is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with the Solomon Islands National Institute of Sport (SINIS) for 2023/24.

SINIS will deliver a range of SMA’s Safer Sport courses on behalf of SMA, including the Level 1 Sports Trainer accreditation, to the sporting community within the Solomon Islands. This partnership will lay the foundation for increased knowledge of injury prevention and management practices, and ensure athletes in the region are participating within the safest possible environment.

“We are excited to be partnering with Sport Medicine Australia to deliver their range of courses in Solomon Islands. To be able to offer courses that are highly regarded and recognised adds significant value to training and development programs we conduct. SMA is a trusted and reputable organisation in the industry not only in Australia but in the Pacific region. Being able to upskill the knowledge and skills of our staff and volunteers in the sports community will benefit all participants in sport. Such partnerships showcase the high standards SINIS has for equipping and training those who provide sport trainer services in Solomon Islands” said Aaron Alsop, Executive Director High Performance, Solomon Islands National Institute of Sport.
