After a year like no other, SMA cannot wait to welcome delegates back to the largest Sports Medicine Conference in the Southern Hemisphere from October 6-9 in Melbourne at the MCG, a venue engrained in some of not just Australia’s but the world’s biggest sporting moments throughout history.

The good news doesn’t stop there for delegates, with exclusive early-bird tickets available until 31 July with pricing held at 2019 levels.

The conference will deliver a four-day program brimming with industry leading multi-disciplinary sports medicine exhibitors, workshops, presentations, and research.

Kicking off the program will be the pre-conference workshops before the prestigious Sir William Refshauge Lecture and then night one will conclude with a welcome reception.

To accompany the Sir William Refshauge Lecture, the conference will feature world-renowned keynote speakers and a showcase of the best sport and exercise medicine researchers in the country with finalists for Abstract and Symposia/Workshop submissions presenting their work to win a share of over $23,000.

The spectacular gala dinner will move to the Friday night where the illustrious ASICS Medal will be presented for 2021.

Concluding the conference on the Saturday will be an array of Workshops and Symposia presentations from a host of Australia’s best researchers.

We’ll have more to come very soon with the announcement of the Sir William Refshauge Lecturer and our complete line up Keynote Speakers.
