JSAMS Plus – Expressions of Interest for the role of Editor-in-Chief

The Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport (JSAMS) is an international refereed research publication covering all aspects of sport science and medicine. It is owned by Sports Medicine Australia (SMA), and published by Elsevier. In 2022, SMA launched JSAMS Plus, the sister journal to JSAMS. It is an online-only, open access journal that is a companion journal to JSAMS, but with its own distinct personality and objectives.

The objective of JSAMS Plus is to further knowledge and research in an open access format, relating generally to the broad fields of sports medicine and sports science: sports medicine, sports injury (including injury epidemiology and injury prevention), physiotherapy, podiatry, physical activity and health, sports science, biomechanics, exercise physiology, motor control and learning, sport and exercise psychology, sports nutrition, public health (as relevant to sport and exercise), and rehabilitation and injury management.

SMA is seeking applications for the role of Editor-in-Chief (EiC), for a term of 4 years – 1  January 2023 to 31 December 2026.
