Sports Medicine Australia is excited to welcome Professor Jill Cook as one of our Keynote Speakers for the 2022 SMA Conference, taking place from November 16-19 at the scenic RACV Royal Pines Resort in the Gold Coast.
At the face-to-face Conference this year, Prof. Cook will be talking about ‘Tendinopathy’, particularly the bigger unanswered questions, and what that means for our clinical effectiveness.
Professor Jill Cook is an Emeritus Professor in musculoskeletal health in the La Trobe Sport and Exercise Medicine Research Centre at La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia.
Prof. Cook’s research areas include sports medicine and tendon injury. After completing her PhD in 2000, she has investigated tendon pathology, treatment options and risk factors for tendon injury.
