Speaker Spotlight – Darryn Sargant
SMA and Sports and Exercise Podiatry Australia (SEPA) are pleased to present a joint event Integrating the management of the foot and ankle into the Medical Model for Australian Football, featuring Frementle Dockers Podiatrist Darryn Sargant.
Darryn is an experienced sports podiatrist with a blend of more than 25 years in private practice and involvement with elite athletes and sports medicine teams. Darryn currently holds appointments as podiatrist to the Fremantle Dockers Football club AFL and AFLW having travelled previously with state U/18 AFL teams for national carnivals. Darryn’s involvement with AFL has spanned over 20 years.
A graduate from Curtin University, Darryn has undertaken post graduate studies and has received Fellowship of the Australasian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. Career highlights include the Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 Olympic Games and Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games.
