The St Mary’s Salesian Amateur Football Club (SMSAFC) is seeking sports trainers for season 2019 .
SMSAFC is a strong family based community football club situated at Ferndale Park in Glen Iris . In 2019, we will field 3 Senior Men’s teams , an Under 19 team and 3 Senior Women’s teams all playing in the VAFA.
In only their second year and after winning back to back premierships, our Senior Women’s team has been promoted to Premier A of the Women’s competition .
The club has a great association with a highly respected sports physio who works closely with our trainers providing guidance and tuition to help improve their skills.
The successful applicants will be rostered as part of our Player Welfare Team with training sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursday nights and games on Saturdays.
We are fully understanding of and flexible to people’s time constraints and needs and work closely with everyone regarding their availability and our requirements .
SMSAFC is a fully inclusive club providing football to nearly 200 male and female players and prides itself on providing a great working and social environment.
- Strapping & Injury Prevention duties on training and match days.
These positions are open to anyone wishing to work in the field of sports medicine and gain valuable experience as a sports trainer at local AFL Football.
