EASC is located in Aspendale on the Mornington Peninsula, consisting of four Australian Rules Football teams including one women’s team. We are looking for several sports trainers for the upcoming 2021 MPNFL season.
What the role entails
As a sports trainer you will be working in a team of fellow sports trainers and physiotherapists to provide pre-game, on field, and post-game management of players and their injuries. Confidence with strapping, massage, first aid, and basic injury assessment to determine ongoing needs and referrals is a must! Previous experience as a sports trainer or study within the health or exercise science industry is highly favoured!
Games are played across the Mornington Peninsula on a Saturday during the regular season, however EASC has a long-standing tradition of opening the season with a Good Friday match against Bonbeach every year. Finals are played across Saturdays and Sundays during August and September. Our home ground is located at Regents Park, situated on Fourth Avenue, Aspendale, which is within walking distance of the Aspendale train station. Due to the locations of away games (from Bonbeach to Sorrento), access to a car is recommended!
If this sounds like the role for you, please send Physiotherapist, Steph, an email with the subject ‘EASC Trainer Role’ and your resume attached to email@example.com, and if you have any queries please be sure to include them in the body of the email.
