The St Mary’s Salesian Amateur Football Club has one position available in our sports trainer team to work with our three open-age women’s teams in 2020 in the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA). This is a great opportunity to practice your skills, get involved & be paid for it. Perfect for university students studying physiotherapy, sports science or exercise science.
The club has a great association with a highly respected sports physio who works closely with our trainers providing guidance and tuition to help improve their skills.
Our sports trainers will be rostered as part of our Player Welfare team to cover training sessions and match day. Training sessions are Mondays and Wednesdays (Feb-March 2020) and Mondays and Thursdays (April-August 2020). Match days for all three teams are Saturday commencing in April 2020 and finishing in August 2020.
General duties include:
- Strapping and injury prevention duties
