Level 2 Sports Trainer
You MUST have a current Sports Medicine Australia Level 1 Sports Trainer Accreditation to enrol into this course. Please note you will be asked to upload evidence of your current Level 1 Sports Trainer Accreditation during the enrolment process.
This course is comprised of several learning and assessment activities including:
1. Pre-course online learning, comprising of approximately 4 hours self-paced learning
2. Two 6 hour Face-to-Face classroom session/s (mix of practical and theory)
To ensure your enrolment experience is as swift and easy as possible, please ensure you have the following documentation:
- A CURRENT Statement of Attainment for HLTAID009 - Provide CPR (must have been completed within the last 12 months),
- A CURRENT Statement of Attainment for HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid (must have been completed within the last 3 years),
- Letter of industry experience from their employer or club/association detailing at least 50 hours of work (paid or unpaid) as a Sports Trainer in the last 12 months (Please contact [email protected] prior to enrolling in the course if you are unable to provide this), and
- A copy of your current/previous SMA Level 1 Sports Trainer accreditation.
