This month, Dr Daniel Gahreman will be joining us to discuss the theories behind strength and conditioning training for athletes, as well as the important role Sports Trainers and Physiotherapist play in this training.
Dr Gahreman completed his PhD in Exercise and Sport Science in Sydney. While studying, he was the strength and conditioning coach of several competitive swimmers from the University of New South Wales, and a national Judoka. He commenced his academic career at Charles Darwin University in 2014, and has worked with Waratah Football Club, BMXNT, and Parap swimmers. In 2018, he completed his post-doctoral in Strength and Conditioning at East Tennessee State University and He is currently level 2 strength and conditioning coach. He is the head coach of CDU weightlifting academy and has years of experience working with children and adolescents.
