SMA and SEPA are excited to present ‘Heel Pain: Load it or Unload it?’ Presented by Dr Dan Bonanno, Chantel Rabusin and John Osborne, this live webinar panel will take a deep dive into the current understanding of plantar heel pain.

Specifically, the panel will examine how muscle strength and strength training fits in the presentation of plantar heel pain, along with clinical gems of how and when to apply strength training to treat this challenging condition.

Mechanical therapies used to manage plantar fascia pain and rupture (such as footwear, taping, orthoses and padding) will also be investigated. Finally, learn about the efficacy of heel lifts and calf muscle eccentric exercises in treating mid-portion Achilles tendinopathy.

At the end of the presentations, the panel will open up for questions, comment and debate.
