Sports Medicine Australia is excited to announce the online webinar ‘Injury Prevention in Development Athletes.’ This event explores the principles of injury prevention and in particular the injury risk in development athletes, alongside practical tips for injury prevention for implementation. At the end of the session, there will be a live Q&A.
It will be hosted by Erin Smyth who has been a Sport & Exercise Physiotherapist for 20 years. She is also a Level 2 Australian Strength & Conditioning Coach and Extended Scope Physiotherapist
This event is free for SMA Members and $25 for Non-Members and will be held from 6:30 – 7:30pm AEST via Zoom.
Erin has been a Sport & Exercise Physiotherapist for 20 years. She is also a Level 2 Australian Strength & Conditioning Coach and Extended Scope Physiotherapist. She has represented Great Britain at the Beijing Paralympic Games and represented Australia at the London Paralympic Games and Rio Olympic Games as a Physiotherapist. She has mainly worked with hockey, football, rowing and netball and has recently submitted her PhD thesis entitled: ‘Development and application of holistic injury prevention strategies in pre-elite sport: Implementation in Australian netball’.
