Sports Medicine Australia is proud to bring you a live online Concussion in Sport webinar presented by highly respected researcher from the University of Newcastle, Associate Professor Andrew Gardner.

This national event follows from the NSW workshop series developed with support from the NSW Office of Sport and is possible with additional valued support from a number of Sate and Territory Governments across Australia.

Concussion is a significant and complex health issue within the Australian sporting landscape at all levels of play. It is clear that ongoing concussion research and education of all sporting stakeholders is vital for athlete and sport safety.

This educational workshop is essential for learning sports trainers, sporting officials, volunteers and parents. It aims to increase knowledge of concussion, its prevalence, signs and symptoms, recognition and management, and return to play, as well as insight into long-term impacts and recent research.
