Nationally Recognised Training

Sports Medicine Australia plays an active role in educating and training professionals and community members about safe participation in sport, recreation and physical activity.

We are proud to be a Registered Training Organisation (National Provider Number 110086).

We offer the following nationally recognised training courses:

  • HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
  • HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
  • HLTAID015 – Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy
  • PUAEME007 – Provide Emergency Care for Suspected Spinal Injury

Important Information: USI

All students must have a valid Unique Student Identifier (USI) to undertake nationally recognised training. SMA cannot generate certificates until a valid USI is recorded. If you do not have a USI, or want to verify your USI number (takes approximately 3 minutes), please visit the Australian Government’s USI website.

Students who do not provide a valid USI when registering for a course will be deemed as an incomplete enrolment. Students who do not complete the enrolment process and provide a valid USI within 15 days of the course date will be unenrolled.
