Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
This course provides the skills to recognise and manage a casualty who is unconscious and not breathing. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a life saving skill that can sustain life until an ambulance arrives.
CPR is one of the least practiced but the most vital skill of a First Aider. SMA therefore recommends is line with the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, that CPR is updated every 12months.
The course provides participants with a Statement of Attainment in the unit of competency HLTCPR211A – Perform CPR.

There are no prerequisites for this course
Course Duration:
The CPR course is involves 3 hours of theoretical and practical sessions.
