Sports Trainer Reaccreditation Course Information

The SMA Sports Trainer Reaccreditation will renew your Level 1 or Level 2 Sports Trainer for a period of 3 years. It is designed to ensure participants maintain the skills required to perform the duties of a Sports Trainer.

The Reaccreditation process involves a competency based assessment of participant’s skills in a range of key sports trainer tasks.

These tasks include:

DRSABC,

taping the thumb and ankle,

STOP, TOTAPS & RICER.

Participants attending the Reaccreditation course will also receive a national CPR Accreditation. The CPR Accreditation is valid for 12 months.
