PICSARĀ – Safer Sporting Communities Project
SMA has partnered with VicHealth to undertake a project as part of the VicHealth Participation in Sport and Active Recreation Scheme (PICSAR). The overall goal of PICSAR is to increase participation in all levels of community sport and active recreation amongst people with disabilities and those from low socio economic, indigenous and new arrival communities. There are three main target areas and groups that this program will be implemented in; Atherton Gardens Street Soccer group, Ballarat new arrivals/refugee/CALD community, and the Indigenous community in Goulburn Valley.
