STC 2009
Victorian Sports Trainers Conference STC2009 was a wonderful success with over 180 participants enjoying a day of professional development and networking at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre. An inspiring group of speakers that included keynote, session and workshop presenters explored new and challenging skills and techniques relevant to those that work in the sports trainer field. Sports Trainers were provided with a wealth of information on injury prevention from some of the best in AFL, Rugby League and some of the biggest Sports Medicine Centres in Melbourne.
Dr Peter Larkins delivered a stimulating keynote on Being a Team Member in the Sports Medical Team, and was supported by all other speakers who, from a range of sporting medical disciplines, delivered informative, educational and practical sessions that ensured attendees walked away feeling rejuvenated, motivated and more confident about being a Sports Trainer and working in the sports medicine field.
