Partners

Sports Medicine Australia has partnerships with the following organisations.

PICSAR Partnerships

SMA has partnered with VicHealth to undertake a project as part of the VicHealth Participation in Sport and Active Recreation Scheme (PICSAR). The overall goal of PICSAR is to increase participation in all levels of community sport and active recreation amongst people with disabilities and those from low socio economic, indigenous and new arrival communities. The following partnership organisations have assisted SMA in delivery of this program;

Smartplay Partnerships

The Smartplay program aims to reduce the incidence and frequency of sport and recreation injuries in the community. This is achieved through the promotion of safer sport messages and delivered through the development of effective partnerships between Smartplay and the community, schools and sporting groups.

Smartplay is Sports Medicine Australia’s sports injury prevention program funded by VicHealth and the Department of Planning and Community Development (Sport and Recreation Victoria).

CleanEdge Partnerships

CleanEdge is Sports Medicine Australia’s Anti-Doping in Sport website. CleanEdge is designed as an educational resource and information hub that explores healthy ways to enhance performance, the facts about, and the consequences of, doping in sport. The website targets those participating at all levels of community sport, including those aspiring to reach their next sporting dream.
