Level Two Sports Trainer (L2ST)

Prerequisites:

Current Level One Sports Trainer Accreditation

Current Advanced Resuscitation Certificate

50+ Hours Practical Sports Trainer Field Work

Minimum age 16 years

As a progression from the Level One Sports Trainer, the Level Two Sports Trainer course is designed to increase the Sports Trainer’s knowledge of the general principles of sports medicine as well as introducing new topics such as:

Advanced Resuscitation

Strength and Conditioning

Pre and Post Event Massage

Sports Psychology

Advanced Taping

Customising Care for Child Athletes, Mature Athletes, and Athletes with a Disability

Upon successful completion of this course participants will be issued a three-year Level Two Sports Trainer Accreditation.
