SMA NSW Conference of Science & Medicine in Sport

The SMA NSW Conference of Science and Medicine in Sport is An interdisciplinary conference to promote knowledge and practice in sports medicine by providing an interactive educational forum of the highest standard, ultimately enhancing the participant, performance and well-being of physically active Australians.

2010 Conference Date & Program

The 2010 Conference of Science & Medicine in Sport was held on Saturday 5th June at Crowne Plaza Darling Harbour.

Sports Trainer Conference

The NSW Sports Trainers Conference provides the opportunity to advance both the practical and theoretical skills of accredited Sports Trainers, ensuring they continue to update their knowledge through both theoretical sessions and practical workshops. The Conference will promote the knowledge, profile and role of Sports Trainers in the NSW Sporting Community by providing an interactive and inter-disciplinary education forum of the highest standard.

Sports Physiotherapy Association Monthly Seminars

The NSW Branch of the Sports Physiotherapy Association (SPA) hosts monthly lectures in the Ken Brown Function Room in association with SMA and Club Warehouse.

Lectures by expert Sports Titled Physiotherapists, Sports Physicians, Orthopaedic Surgeons and Radiologists are presented on areas of clinical importance and current trends in best practice.

The Seminars are free for SPA Member physiotherapists and full SMA Members but all registered physiotherapists are invited to attend.
