Testimonial: Patrick McCudden, Pat’s Massage, Queanbeyan
Just a short note to thank you for a great way to maintain my CPR and First aid qualifications. As a professional working in the Soft Tissue industry I find that working long hours and having to each year or every three years spend the week-end re-doing snake bites and bandaid work, a tedious waste of time. The networking opportunites which doing the course with SMA provided was a meaningful use of my time which made the update more enjoyable. Thanks again Pat.
CPR: Nationally Accredited Training – Perform CPR HLTCPR211A
(New training unit now released)
The Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course is designed to teach the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain life. CPR is an emergency procedure which is attempted in an effort to return life to a person in cardiac arrest following the DRSABCD procedures. It is indicated in those who are unresponsive with no breathing present.
CPR is one of the least used skills in a first aider, however one of the most important. The ARC recommends that yearly updated be conducted to ensure you keep up to date with the current knowledge of applying this life saving technique. The course provides participants with a Nationally Accredited Statement of Attainment in the unit of competency HLTCPR211A – Perform CPR.
