A working party with representatives from AIS, UC, ACTAS, SMA has been established to organise a conference which will be a celebration of the 50 years of Sports Medicine in ACT; Where we have come from; How Sports Medicine has evolved; Where we are heading.

The ACT Conference of Science and Medicine in Sport is held annually in February. This conference aims to provide knowledge and practice of Science and Medicine in Sport and Exercise through an interactive and inter-disciplinary education forum of the highest standard. Sports Trainers Conference
Held in the last weekend of October each year, the ACT Sports Trainers Conference provides the opportunity to advance both the practical and theoretical skills of accredited Sports Trainers, ensuring they continue to update their knowledge through both theoretical sessions and practical workshops. A trade exhibition is included as part of the conference to provide Sports Trainers with the opportunity to hear about the latest in sports trainer tools and products. The conference also provides a CPR and Reaccreditation session for those trainers that want to ensure their accreditation is current.
