Come and join us for the NSW State Symposium in February 2018: ‘Clearing the Ruck: A Rugby Codes Symposium.’

With the 2018 season almost upon us, ‘Clearing the Ruck’ will showcase an array of professionals from varied sports medicine disciplines, with a wealth of experience and knowledge across the codes of rugby league and rugby union.

The symposium will aim to place a spotlight on topical discussion points that transcend both sports including:

  • Concussion
  • Mental Health
  • Strength and Conditioning
  • Women in Rugby Codes

Confirmed Speakers Include:

  • Dr Donald Kuah – National Rugby League, Sydney Sports Medicine Centre
  • Dr Andrew Gardner – University of Newcastle, Hunter Medical Research Institute, ARU Concussion Advisory Group
  • Dr Warren McDonald – Chief Medical Officer Australian Rugby Union
  • Mr Don Singe – High Performance Manager New Zealand Rugby League Team
