NSW – Clearing the Ruck: A Rugby Codes Symposium

Come and join us for the NSW State Symposium in February 2018: ‘Clearing the Ruck: A Rugby Codes Symposium.’

With the 2018 season almost upon us, ‘Clearing the Ruck’ will showcase an array of professionals from varied sports medicine disciplines, with a wealth of experience and knowledge across the codes of rugby league and rugby union.

The symposium will aim to place a spotlight on topical discussion points that transcend both sports including:

  • Concussion
  • Mental Health
  • Strength and Conditioning
  • Women in Rugby Codes
  • The relationship and communication between State and Club staff at representative level
  • Q & A Session with NRL and ARU Chief Medical Officers
  • Hypermobility and second ankle syndrome in football codes: biomechanics, common injuries and treatments to reduce risk of overuse foot injuries
