Hamstrung: The Injury Journey

Dr Tom Entwisle

Dr Tom Entwisle completed a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at The University of Melbourne from 1997 to 2006.  His Postgraduate Radiology Training was undertaken at the Austin Hospital in Melbourne where there was an emphasis on hepatobiliary, spinal, neuroradiology, oncology and emergency imaging.

He is the Musckuloskeletal Radiology Fellow at Imaging @ Olympic Park.  Current academic and research interests include distal musculotendinous T junction tears of the biceps femoris muscle, muscle contusions, multidirectional instability of the shoulder and autologous cytokine therapy.

The Hamstrung: The hamstring injury journey conference will take the delegate through the athlete’s journey during a hamstring injury from, prevention all the way to return to play. It will showcase talks from all disciplines of the multidisplinary team involved with hamstring injury management with learning points from the combination of landmark research projects and vast clinical expertise.
