Welcome Reception – Wednesday 19 October

In 2011 the Welcome Reception is being held surrounding the resort pool which is set in outdoor tropical surrounds at the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle. Drinks and canapés will be served whilst delegates have the opportunity to meet with other delegates and a speakers.

One ticket is included with each full registration and one day registrations for Wed 19th Oct. Tickets for other one day registrants not including Wed 19th Oct, accompanying guests and partners tickets may be purchased separately for $65 GST Inc each.

ASMF Fellows Dinner – Thursday 20 October

The Australian Sports Medicine Federation Fellows Dinner and AGM will be held on the Thursday night following the Trade exhibition opening. Enjoy the ASMF Fellows dinner in the picturesque Fremantle boat harbour with uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean and the harbour. Located at The View Restaurant Fremantle – 47 Mews Road Fishing Boat Harbour, Fremantle.

NB The Fellows Dinner is open only to Australian Sports Medicine Federation Fellows and their partners or guest.
NNB Ticket includes food and some drinks

Tickets must be purchased for all those attending. Tickets cost $80 GST Inc per person.

Scientific Poster Session – Friday 21 October

Deakin University Sponsored Session

The Scientific Poster Session is a stand alone session, with discussion fueled by a complimentary drinks service. Senior members of SMA will provide feedback to individual researchers and discuss their research. Further, all poster abstracts accepted are published in the December 2011 supplement of the Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport and will have the chance to share in one of the four poster awards on offer, each valued at $500.

Discipline Group Dinners – Friday 21 October

Some groups involved with the conference will be holding dinners on the Friday night. Details of each dinner will be placed here as they are finalised and tickets for each can be purchased via the online registration site or by emailing Davina Smith.

Conference Dinner – Saturday 22 October

The premier social event of ACSMS 2011 promises to be a memorable evening. This years Conference Dinner will be held at the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle in the Southern Cross Ballroom where you will enjoy local entertainment, dancing and fine food.

One ticket is included with each full registration and one day registrations for Sat 22nd Oct. Tickets for other one day registrants not including Sat 22nd Oct, accompanying guests and partners tickets may be purchased separately for $120 GST Inc each.
