In a move aimed at increasing survival rates from cardiac arrest, the Australia Resuscitation Council has made new recommendations on how CPR is performed. This practical seminar will teach the new guidelines for compressing and ventilating for adults and children and will demonstrate the use of Automated External Defi brillation (AED). Seminar Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injuries: Surgical options and rehabitilation Tue 13 SA Three orthopaedic surgeons will discuss their respective surgical technique for anterior cruciate reconstruction. Their respective physiotherapists will then discus the rehabilitation process to return the individual to previous level of functioning.

Some of the learning outcomes will include: understanding early potential complications of ACL reconstructions surgery; becoming familiar with the different stages of rehabilitation of an ACL reconstruction; and the importance of maintaining fitness levels in athletes rehabilitations ACL injuries.
