WA- Level 1 Sports Trainer course – 25/26th Feb 2017

Are you working with a sporting team in 2017? Do you currently have a First Aid certificate and want to take that next step? This practical course is designed to introduce participants to the basic knowledge and skills required to prevent and manage injuries on and off the field.

The Level 1 Sports Trainers course is designed to introduce participants of the basic knowledge and skills required by a Sports Trainer. These skills include the management of specific sporting injuries, sports taping and transporting an injured athlete. This course educates prospective sports trainers, teachers, coaches, administrators and parents on the basic principles of sports medicine.

Prerequisites

Current Provide First Aid (must state HLTAID003 or equivalent) and a current CPR certificate (must state HLTAID001 or equivalent)

Accreditation

Upon successful completion of the course you will receive a 3 year National SMA Level 1 Sports Trainer
