Sports Medicine Australia Queensland Branch, with support from the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), the Australasian Association for Podiatric Sports Medicine (AAPSM) and Exercise and Sports Science Australia(ESSA) is hosting a combined conference for Health Professionals and Sports Trainers in Townsville on Saturday 18th August at Townsville Sports House. The morning sessions are for Health Professionals and University Students and the afternoon sessions for Sports Trainers. Both groups are invited to the symposium on the current hot topic of “Safety in Sports and Physical Activity: Should the priority be participation or prevention?” as well as lunch which is also included in the registration.
