This partnership is all about the community.

Every Monday and Wednesday night in August CIT will run a first aid course for their students studying Children Services. 120 students will undertake the national recognised first aid course as part of their studies.

SMA-ACT and CIT have formed a partnership to ensure that the first aid courses are delivered to the highest standards. SMA-ACT will provide the teaching resources for this course, utilising their strong first aid lecturer base. SMA-ACT lecturer base is made up of presenters who are using first aid on a regular basis as part of their work within the community at sporting and community events. This experience is paramount to providing training which involves the participants and gets them to start thinking about applying first aid skills within their working environment.

CIT and SMA-ACT have a shared vision and strong partnership which is really exciting and we are both passionate and committed to making a real difference in providing education and training which promotes flexible training opportunities to all ACT and surrounding areas.
